Michael A. Posavetz, Esq. is an associate at Braaten & Pascarella who has an intricate role in the defense of approximately 30,000 asbestos cases presently pending in New York and New Jersey. These aspects include taking depositions, motion practice, court conferences and trial preparation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Posavetz was engaged as in-house counsel for numerous corporations. His focus concentrated in the food industry where he was responsible for compliance with state and federal laws regulating the manufacturing, sale and distribution of food products. Mr. Posavetz has extensive experience in negotiating major supply agreements, collective bargaining agreements and employment contracts. Further, Mr. Posavetz’s work consisted of preventing and reducing corporate liability for shareholders, officers and directors.
